False payments are transfers of money to the authorized issuer of an invoice and a further payment to an unauthorized recipient. In fact, in the vast majority of incorrect payments detected by EVV GmbH, the two creditors have a legal relationship with each other. E.g.: different branches or different legal entities (Spedition GmbH and Spedition Express GmbH).

Invoice 502879 was posted twice to different vendor accounts with different voucher dates and was also paid twice. Only the comprehensive analysis of the vendor data by EVV GmbH as part of an audit enabled a correction with cash recovery.
